Nichols Wooden Tuner Buttons

Nichols Wooden Tuner Buttons

This means that they are comfortable

I’ve made a lot of different products through the years. For some reason a sharp edge on anything doesn’t please me unless it is on a knife or some cutting tool. I’ve seen some guitar tuners that had such sharp edges on them that they hurt your fingers when you tried to turn them. I like smooth edges on them. I’ve made some knobs for guitar tuners and they work very well.

They have the Nichols edges on them

Doesn’t this look comfortable?

They don't hurt your fingers when you turn them

A lot of guitar people get excited about old Kluson Tuners. They were all right if you had a pair of pliars to turn them.I’d rather have a Ping with a comfortable Nichols Button on it.

They don't look half bad to me

I’ve made them for a lot of my instruments.

Here are some wooden tuner buttons on one of my banjos

Here is one of my 3 holers with these buttons.

As is with a lot of my projects, it has never impressed anyone but me

I even made some wooden covers to go on my upright bass tuners.

But that is all that is necessary

They feel a lot better to me.
