A couple of days ago, we had a cold spell. It had rained for several days and then turned bitterly cold. We have a glass topped table on our back deck. I noticed this fancy design on it early the next morning and wondered how it got there. 

You may think this design was in the glass, but it wasn’t. This glass is smooth with no designs in it at all. I’d never seen this before. I looked at some pictures online and saw some similar designs. It just struck me as a beautiful design. You can see above that the glass is smooth where the sun has melted the ice.

Some folks might say that mother nature did this. I don’t know who came up with the silly idea of mother nature but I suspect it was some athiest.  I’m not a believer in mother nature, but I am a believer in God. He created this wonderful universe and all that is in it and He doesn’t have to strain to create something like this for us to admire.
