Don Williams wanted to learn so bad how to play the guitar so he asked Louis Ray. He began to teach him in any spare time either one had.
Don was always at the family reunions until his parents divorce. He would play at them. I was young but i remember family members saying “Don’s getting good. ”

Louis Ray Stapp (I took both their middle names as well. Only Louis, Don, and myself in the family have Ray in their name. Grandpa always told my dad if you have a son the body shop will always be his. That’s me. He also told them to have Ray as my middle name)
I was also the lead painter on the hit TV show “Overhaulin” with Chip Foose. I wrote and directed my first movie titled Destination Marfa starring Tony Todd that’s available on Amazon Prime and DVD via Walmart.
I have loved Don Williams for many years. Grew up listening to him. Now put Keith Urban in the mix and it’s like life begins again, “Imagine That!”
